Up to five o’clock in the evening, there were also healthy turnouts in the states of Manipur (76.06 percent), West Bengal (71.84 percent), Chhattisgarh (72.13 percent), and Assam (70.66 percent).
In this phase, up to 15.88 crore voters are eligible to cast ballots. There are 5.929 electors of the third gender, 7.8 crore women, and 8.08 crore men among the voters. 3.28 crore young voters, or those in the 20–29 age range, are also included in the voting base. 34.8 lakh first-time voters have registered to vote in this round, among other things.
